Beaver Bitcoin only sells bitcoin. It is not an exchange - we don't buy Bitcoin from you, or offer any kind of trading services. We do however work with an exchange, which we refer to throughout this FAQ as our "liquidity provider" or "liquidity partner".
The price of bitcoin we offer to our customers is the same price we receive from them. For example, if we buy bitcoin from our liquidity partner at $30,000 CAD, we sell bitcoin to you at the same price, $30,000 CAD, and this is the price that will display in your dashboard once your buy has been completed and delivered.

The price paid for bitcoin through Beaver is competitive with other Canadian bitcoin platforms and exchanges, and is displayed at the top of our website.

Separate from the pricing of bitcoin is our fee model, which you can read more about here. Beaver Bitcoin charges $3 + 0.99% of your weekly purchase amount with every buy. So from a $100 weekly buy $96.01 will go towards buying bitcoin, and $3.99 goes to Beaver. This fee pays for the costs associated with delivering the service, including the on-chain bitcoin network fee for the end-delivery of your bitcoin, and a portion is revenue for us. A breakdown of the fee is detailed in the article linked above.
The majority of these operations are performed in bulk, and as a result, all of our customers who buy bitcoin on the same day receive the same bitcoin price.
